Loughgall Country Park Lake

Loughgall Country park is situated in the village of Loughgall, approximately 7 miles from Portadown. The lake has been extensively developed by the local council in the last few years, through the construction of 90 excellent fishing stands right around the lake.

The main species are roach, skimmer bream and "proper" bream, with fish up to 8lbs not uncommon. Carp are also stocked in the lake but are very rarely caught. The lake fished best between May and September, with long pole being the dominant method in those months. In winter the main tactic is the swimfeeder.
